Heise Wins Ms. Hockey Award; Dobchuk Named Goalie of the Year

Red Wing senior forward Taylor Heise won the 2018 23rd annual Ms. Hockey Award on Sunday in St. Paul. Heise scored 74 goals in 26 games this season. She's won three World Championships during her career with the U.S. Women's National Under-18 Team. Heise also owns a 3.957 GPA and will play college hockey at the University of Minnesota.

Alexa Dobchuck of Eden Prairie was named the 2018 Let's Play Hockey Senior Goalie of the Year. Dobchuck was all-state twice in her career with the Eagles. She posted a 1.81 goals-against average this season and had 9 shutouts. She'll play college hockey at Colgate. Dobchuck also excels in the classroom with a 3.875 GPA.
