Gophers Softball Season Ends with 5-2 Loss to Washington in NCAA Regional Final

Minnesota softball could not hold off a late rally by No. 5/5 Washington in the Seattle Regional final Sunday evening, falling by a score of 5-2. The Gophers conclude the season with a 41-17 overall record.

Sunday marked the final game for seniors Ellie Cowger, Sydney Dwyer, Danielle Parlich, Erika Rozell and Dani Wagner. The group combined for four NCAA Regional berths, three Big Ten Tournament Championships and a Big Ten regular season championship.
