The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers softball team beat Georgia 8-1 on Monday to advance to the NCAA Super Regionals.

Freshman Natalie DenHartog hit a 3-run homer in the top of the first for the Gophers and starting pitcher Amber Fiser pitched a complete game and only gave up one earned run.

The 7th-seeded Gophers will host No. 10 seed LSU in the best-of-three Super Regional at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium.
