Gophers coach Pitino previews Wednesday's game vs. Nebraska

December 05, 2018 01:16 PM

The Gophers (6-2, 0-1) host Nebraska (7-1, 1-0) on Wednesday night. If you figure the Gophers need at least 10 Big Ten wins to have a realistic shot to make the NCAA Tournament, then getting a win at the Barn against the Huskers is pretty important.

Senior guard Dupree McBrayer is expected to play. His mom passed away earlier in the week after a battle with cancer.

Junior forward Eric Curry (knee) remains out.

We talked with Gophers coach Richard Pitino, and he is looking forward to playing in the Barn for the first time in three weeks.

The Pacers and Magic will have scouts at Wednesday's game, KSTP Sports has learned.
