It's the Gophers' first NCAA Tournament appearance since the 2016-17 season, where the team lost to Middle Tennessee State in the first round.

The Gophers haven't won a game in the Tournament since the 2012-13 season when the team beat UCLA in the first round before losing to Florida in the second round.

Preparations for NCAA Final Four tournament continue at US Bank Stadium

This year, the Gophers are 21-13 overall (9-11 in conference play), and finished seventh in the Big Ten regular season standings. The Gophers beat Penn State and Purdue in the Big Ten Tournament, on Thursday and Friday, respectively, before losing to Michigan on Saturday.
