The Gophers football team had a special day at the home of the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday by holding a practice at TCO Stadium in Eagan.

"We wanted to simulate a road game atmosphere by getting on a bus and coming over to the Vikings facility. Many of our players have never been to professional facility. We're grateful for the opportunity to come over here and practice," said Gophers head coach P.J. Fleck.

"This place is awesome! I've never been over here before. I've grown up a Vikings fan, so I truly enjoyed the experience of getting the opportunity to practice here," said Gophers senior linebacker Carter Coughlin.

The Gophers will hold their spring game on Saturday at 11:00 a.m, however due to the inclement weather in the forecast the Gophers have moved the game to it's indoor facility at the Athletes Village and will be closed to the public.
