Gophers coach Pitino with injury update, helping Washington overcome current hurdles

The Gophers host North Florida on Tuesday night, fresh off Saturday's win over Arkansas State.

Head coach Richard Pitino met with reporters on Monday, providing an injury update on Eric Curry (knee), Daniel Oturu (ankle) and announcing that Dupreee McBrayer will Tuesday's game with his mom's wake that night and the funeral on Wednesday.

Pitino also talked at length about sophomore guard Isaiah Washington, who has been struggling of late.

The Gophers will travel as a a team to New York to attend the funeral.
