Former DeLaSalle high school and North Dakota guard Geno Crandall is getting closer to making his transfer decision with the Gophers, Gonzaga, and Xavier in the mix.

KSTP's Darren 'Doogie' Wolfson recently sat down with Crandall to talk about the options he has, and when we can expect a decision.

Crandall visited Xavier last week, and has plans to visit Gonzaga this weekend. He visited with Gophers coach Richard Pitino a couple weeks ago, along with his dad.

Crandall, who started 90 games the last three years for North Dakota, averaged 16. points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game last season. He also led the Big Sky Conference in steals and made 42 percent of his 3-pointers.

Colorado State was in Crandall's mix, but it appears now that he won't be visiting there.
