The Minnesota Lynx will have two representatives at the WNBA All-Star Game on July 27: center Sylvia Fowles and guard Odyssey Sims.

This is Fowles' sixth All-Star Game appearance, and third with the Lynx. Sims is going to her first All-Star Game in her six year career.

"Old is correct, but I'm very honored to get picked year in and year out. I'm just happy that our fans did a good job of making sure I go to Vegas. It should be a good time," said Fowles.

"It's very special, and I'm happy just being my first time. I'm waiting for it to still sink in right now," said Sims.

Since Fowles is experienced, she shares this advice with her teammate Sims:

"It's going to be a whirlwind. They have us doing a lot of things throughout the weekend, but soaking up the moment to have fun and not be afraid to let loose for a couple days, not losing sight of what we have to do when we come back, but enjoy being All-Star."

"We're looking forward to that weekend in Vegas. I'm proud of Sylvia, the double-double queen, hard to guard. I'm just excited that another teammate can go with me," Sims added.

The 16th WNBA All-Star Game will take place in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 27 at the Mandalay Bay Event Center.
