Edina's Kompelien & Eagan's Windels Headline Class 2A Girls State Track Meet

Edina senior Emily Kompelien won the 1600 meter run and the 800 meters at the Class 2A Girls State Track & Field Championships on Saturday in St. Paul.

Eagan senior Natalie Windels also took first place in two events, winning the the 300 and 100 meter hurdles.


Minnetonka won the team championship. The Skippers won the 4x200 and 4x400 relay races.
