Boys Hoops: Eden Prairie Handles Osseo in 4A Quarterfinals

Eden Prairie, the No. 4 seed, rolled into the Class AAAA semifinals following a 65-38 victory over No. 5 Osseo in the quarterfinals on Wednesday at Target Center. 

Sophomore forward Connor Christiansen scored 22 points and had 11 rebounds, and sophomore forward Austin Andrews added 13 to send the Eagles (23-7) into the semifinals and a rematch with Cretin-Derham Hall, the top seed in the Class AAAA field. On Feb. 28, Eden Prairie played Cretin-Derham Hall in the regular-season finale and won, 65-63.

Sophomore guard Drake Dobbs contributd 12 points and two steals for Eden Prairie. 

Osseo (23-7), the Section 5AAAA champion, was paced by sophomore guard Cornell Richardson and senior guard Zach Thiesen, both of whom had 10 points.
