Eden Prairie lacrosse star Matsui earns high honor, prepares to join NCAA Champs

June 04, 2019 04:24 PM

As much as Eden Prairie senior Quentin Matsui has accomplished in high school, he has some lofty achievements ahead of him.

First, he's hoping to help his Eagles earn their first State Lacrosse Championship since back-to-back titles in 2013 and 2014.  They face Chanhassen in the Section Final on Friday evening.

Later this summer Matsui will be the second Minnesota ever to play in the annual Under Armour All-American Game on June 29th at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

Then next year, he'll join the recently-crowned NCAA lacrosse national champion Virginia Cavaliers for college.
