Earning the Class AA singles title at the Boys' State Tennis Tournament was senior Sebastian Vile from Rochester Mayo, who entered as the tournament’s No 1 seed. Vile, the runner-up in 2017, made his way to the championship match with three, two-set wins, not allowing an opponent to take more than three games from him. The title match was no different, as Vile defeated opponent junior Maxim Zagrebelny of Eagan, 6-2, 6-1, to win the championship title.

In the Class AA doubles tournament, it was sophomore Nisal Liyanage and junior Sourabh Terakanambi from Eastview who took home the Class AA championship title. The pair, who won the Consolation Championship in 2017, entered the tournament unseeded, yet upset the No. 1 seed pair of seniors Tristan Fjelstad and Ryan Frost in the second round and the No. 5 seed pair of juniors Hunter Roseth and Adam Harvey in the third round to reach the finals. Liyanage and Terakanambi defeated seniors Frank Stich and Benjamin Wheaten, of Minnetonka, in the title match, 6-3, 7-5.
