East Ridge HS Basketball Star Trio Provides Recruiting Updates

The East Ridge boys basketball team will be one of the best in the state this year. They have three D-1 players: senior Courtney Brown Jr., junior Ben Carlson, and sophomore Kendall Brown. The latter two have offers from the Gophers, and Courtney recently committed to UW-Milwaukee.

KSTP Sports' Darren 'Doogie' Wolfson recently caught up with all three players.

Courtney, Kendall's older brother, is a 6-feet-6 guard/forward. He chose UW-Milwaukee over offers from Drake and North Dakota.

Carlson, a 6-feet-9 forward, holds offers from the Gophers, Iowa State, Creighton, Stanford, Iowa, Wisconsin, Kansas State, and many more Power-6 programs.

Kendall is a 6-feet-6 point guard, who Gophers coach Richard Pitino extended an offer to after he attended a recent practice. Kendall is receiving interest from Iowa, Iowa State, and others.

Freshman Kendall Blue is also expected to receive D-1 offers.
