Eagan was the number one seed in Section 3AA, while the Raptors were the third seed. East Ridge opened up the scoring in the first period after senior forward Mackenzie Werner found fellow senior Katherine Flynn to give the Raptors a 1-0 lead.

In the second period, sophomore forward Lauren Beaubien scored on a beautiful assist from senior forward Morgan Werner to put East Ridge up 2-0.

From that point on, Eagan had numerous close calls, but Raptor's junior goalie Emerald Kelley was a brick wall and stopped every shot she faced.
