A source told KSTP Sports on Wednesday Charlie Coyle wasn't on the Wild's team flight to New York. That's because he's on his way to Boston via trade.

In return, the Wild get 22-year-old forward Ryan Donato and a conditional 2019 5th round draft pick.

Coyle, 26, had spent his entire six year-plus NHL career with Minnesota. He has 10 goals and 18 assists in 60 games this year.

Coyle is signed through next season with a cap hit of $3.2 million.
