Centennial Reaches State Tournament for First Time in Ten Years

Ms. Hockey Award finalists Gabbie Hughes and Anneke Linser led Centennial to a 3-0 win against Blaine in the Section 5AA championship game Friday night in Roseville. The win advances the Cougars to the Girls' State Hockey Tournament for the first time in ten years.

Hughes scored two goals and added an assist, while Linser had a goal and an assist for Centennial. Goaltender Mackenna Stoterau stopped all 16 shots she faced. The Cougars enter the state tournament with a 23-3-1 record.
