Blake Girls Hockey's Kruesel Unbeaten in 37 After Win Over Jefferson

The Blake Bears defeated the Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars 7-1 Friday night at the Bloomington Ice Garden rink.

Sophomore Audrey Wethington scored two first period goals an added an assist to help the Bears jump out to a 4-0 lead after the first and a 6-0 lead through two periods.

Six different Bears scored goals.

Blake was backstopped by an 8-save effort from goalie Anna Kruesel who extended her unbeaten-streak to 37 games.

The star senior hasn't lost a game since the second game of her sophomore year back in November of 2015.

Kruesel has a record of 34-0-3 during the streak according to statistics compiled by Minnesota Hockey Hub.
