Warren is the sixth commissioner for the conference. He started his tenure in September and plans to visit every school in the conference. As well as visiting every school, Warren said he plans to watch every single team in the conference.

Warren spoke about the lack of racial diversity in prominent roles, the lack of women coaches and leaders, his plans to get more women into powerful roles, and his thoughts on collegiate athletes getting paid.

Warren previously was the Vikings' chief operating officer. In other words, he knows the Big Ten landscape in the Twin Cities incredibly well.
