Benilde-St. Margaret's girls hoops cruises by Bloomington Kennedy

The Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights girls basketball team defeated the Bloomington Kennedy Eagles 64-37, Tuesday evening at Bloomington Kennedy High School.

The Red Knights came out the gates hot, starting the game on a 21-2 run that lasted until midway through the first half. The Red Knights were up 39-14 at halftime.

Senior Isabel Fleming lead the way for the Red Knights. She outscored the Eagles by herself by pouring in 18 first half points, including a layup as the first half expired.

Fleming ended the game with 25 points. Also having a big game was junior Patience Williams, who scored an additional 22 for the Knights.

The loss drops the Eagles to 4-12 on the season. They next play Chaska  Friday. Benilde-St. Margaret's improves to 12-3 on the year and next plays Chanhassen on Friday.
