Hooker left Iowa a year early after having a stellar junior season. In 13 starts last season, Hooker earned the Hawkeyes' defensive MVP award by tying for the team lead in interceptions (four) and pass breakups (seven), and ranking second in tackles (65).

Hooker doesn't turn 21 until June, making him one of the youngest players in the Draft.

Hooker took pre-draft visits to Minnesota and Tennessee, and sources tell KSTP that New England, Seattle, Chicago, and Baltimore also have registered strong interest.
