Daughter of former Minnesota Viking introduces education for schools based on his journey

Maya Washington is the daughter of former Minnesota Viking Gene Washingon, who helped shape the first fully-integrated college football team in America at Michigan State in 1963.

Maya has turned his story into a documentary and a novel. Now, she’s introducing education that she hopes will make its way into classrooms.
