Gov.-elect Tim Walz has announced the first five state agency heads who will serve in his administration.

Walz made the announcement Tuesday afternoon, tabbing Jennifer Ho as Commissioner of the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency, Margaret Anderson Kelliher as Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Nora Slawik as Chair of the Metropolitan Council and Alice Roberts-Davis as Commissioner of the Department of Administration, as well as reappointing Myron Frans as Commissioner of the Office of Management and Budget.

Ho was a Senior Policy Advisor for Housing and Services in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development during the Obama Administration, Anderson Kelliher served 12 years in the Minnesota House, including two terms as speaker, Roberts-Davis currently serves as the Assistant Commissioner at the Department of Administration and Slawick is the mayor of Maplewood and a former longtime state representative.
