Klobuchar unveils new campaign ads as Iowa caucuses draw near

Updated: January 28, 2020 07:18 PM

The Iowa caucuses are in six days, and Democratic presidential candidates are making their final pushes. Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota ramped up her efforts Tuesday by releasing two new TV ads.

One ad highlights Klobuchar's tour in which she completed the "full Grassley" and visited all 99 of Iowa's counties. The other directly attacks President Donald Trump, claiming he only thinks about himself.

The two ads cost six figures, according to her campaign.

Klobuchar has had to cut back on campaign stops due to her required presence in Washington for the impeachment trial, but she is expected to leave for Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Tuesday night.
