FBI 'looking into' death threat against Ilhan Omar

The FBI is looking into a death threat against Rep. Ilhan Omar.

FBI Public Affairs Officer Kevin Smith told KSTP Thursday, "The FBI is aware of the threat that Rep. Omar posted on Twitter and is looking into the threat in conjunction with other law enforcement partners."

Omar on Wednesday afternoon tweeted a picture of a death threat that stated she'd die at the Minnesota State Fair before she made it back to Washington.

Omar's office confirmed Wednesday that the threat was reported and that police are investigating the incident.

The FBI wouldn't confirm any other details related to the threat.
