Updated: January 12, 2020 03:55 PM

This week on "At Issue with Tom Hauser," we're monitoring the latest tensions between Iran and the U.S. You can see Tom's interview with retired Gen. Joseph Votel. He's a Minnesota man who was in charge of the war on terrorism in the Middle East. He often warned about the dangers posed by Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

We also look at the latest polling among Democratic presidential candidates and how Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota ranks just days before the next debate in Iowa.

Plus, Beltrami County becomes the first in the state to ban refugee resettlements. We discuss how the state of Minnesota is responding to the president's executive order.
