President Joe Biden outlined his infrastructure and jobs plan this week and, although it was met with optimism by Democratic Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Republicans in Congress quickly dismissed its price tag and the means of paying for it — tax increases on corporations. This week on “At Issue,” Tom Hauser speaks with White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki about that plan.

Meanwhile, DFL Gov. Tim Walz and former Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty encouraged Minnesotans to get their COVID-19 vaccines, as the two men got theirs at the Vikings training facility. There’s also a growing effort by leaders in the Somali community to get people to trust the vaccine while battling misinformation surrounding it.
