Youth Learn About State Government Works at the Capitol

Dozens of Minnesota youth spent the weekend learning how state government works at the Capitol Sunday.

It is part of the youth in government model assembly, which is the state's largest hands-on civic education event.


Students elect officials, take on public policy challenges and write legislation.

The elected student governor says their work rivals real-life government work.
