Woman Found on Fire in Duluth Identified

Duluth police have identified the woman found on fire Thursday afternoon as 24-year-old Jaclyn Arnold of Duluth, TV station WDIO reports. 

Authorities said she is in critical condition at a Minneapolis hospital after sustaining life-threatening injuries in the incident, which is still being treated as a criminal investigation.


Police said they responded to Highway 23 near the Lake Superior College Fire Training Center just before 2 p.m. on a report of a woman on fire. 

Police asking for witnesses who may have seen her to come forward by calling 911 or the violent crimes unit at 218-730-5050.
