A 19-year-old Willmar woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash in central Minnesota Friday afternoon.

According to the State Patrol, Yasmin Abdi Ahmed was traveling west on Highway 12 near Grove City when she lost control and crossed the center line.

Her van struck a pickup truck driven by 25-year-old Ali Ann Danzeisen of Litchfield. Another pickup truck, driven by 24-year-old Joshua William Pehrson of Willmar, then struck Danzeisen's vehicle.

Ahmed was killed in the crash. Danzeisen suffered non-life threatening injuries, while Pehrson was uninjured, State Patrol said.

All three drivers were wearing seat belts. Snow and ice may have been a factor, according to State Patrol.
