Wisconsin Man Charged with Homicide for Allegedly Shooting Son Released from Jail on Bond

The western Wisconsin man who authorities say shot his son has been released from jail after posting bail, according to court records.


Forty-two-year-old Kayle Fleischauer has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

He was released after posting a $500,000 bond. According to court records, he will be living with his mother in White Bear Lake.

A 911 call on the morning of April 15 led St. Croix County sheriff's deputies to Fleischauer's home near New Richmond, Wisconsin.  His son, Chase Fleischauer was found with a gunshot wound to the head.
