Authorities in Wisconsin are seeking the public's help in locating a missing veteran who is said to suffer from PTSD from service overseas. 

The Wisconsin Department of Justice identified the man as 36-year-old Shaun Michael Wischmann.


Wischmann was last seen Monday afternoon in Altoona, Wisconsin. 

His family believes he may be traveling to North Dakota. The Wisconsin Department of Justice added he may be in possession of a handgun. 

Wischmann was described as 6-feet-2-inches, weighing 175 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. 

He was last seen wearing a black button-down shirt, jeans and a black jacket. 

Authorities believe he may be driving a 2014 Chevy Cruze.
