Wintry Weather Causes Headaches on Minnesota Roads

The snow and wintry conditions Friday morning brought headaches for drivers on the state's roadways.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported a total of 115 crashes in Minnesota between 5 and 10 a.m. Friday, including 15 with injuries. There were a total of 38 vehicle spin-outs or reports of vehicles of the road.

However, there were no fatalities.

In the Twin Cities metro area, there were a total of 85 crashes, including 11 with injuries. Twenty-two vehicle spin-outs or reports of vehicles off the road were also reported.

In a tweet, Eden Prairie police reported Friday morning that they had responded to 31 crashes in the past 24 hours alone.
