Warmer temperatures are expected Saturday, however, a wintry mix is expected to make its way through the area, according to KSTP Meteorologist Dave Dahl.

Temperatures on Saturday are expected to reach a high of 37 degrees, which is the average temperature for this time of year.

Dahl said the wintry mix is expected to hit the Twin Cities in the afternoon. He said it could turn into light snow or flurries by the evening, but he does not expect much of a coating.

Flurries could continue into Sunday, according to Dahl.

Temperatures are expected to remain in the high 30s through Tuesday. Wednesday is expected to reach a high of 45 degrees.
