The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office has recovered the body of a 60-year-old man from St. Paul who was swimming near a pontoon Sunday, went underwater and did not resurface.

William James Murray was swimming just after 3 p.m. Sunday when he went underwater.

Dive teams searched for his body through the afternoon and evening but had to call off the search due to an incoming storm. 

Authorities found his body Monday afternoon, nearly 23 hours after he went underwater.
