Warmer temperatures help start maple syrup season in Twin Cities

Warmer temperatures are helping kick off the maple syrup season around the Twin Cities.

This spring the large amount of snow still on the ground could help sweeten the season. The snow could act as insulation around the bucket, giving more time to harvest the sap before it spoils.
