Police are investigating after a victim was shot Sunday night in north Minneapolis.

Officers responded to a report that someone was bleeding from the throat around 6:17 p.m. at 30th and Russell avenues north. Minneapolis Police say they believe the shooting happened in the 2700 block of Thomas Avenue.
