Authorities have identified the man killed in a snowmobile crash in Dunn County, Wisconsin.

A news release from the Dunn County Sheriff's Office identified the man as 29-year-old Brenden Schutts.

The sheriff's office said deputies were called Saturday around 7:30 p.m. to the 8500 block of 870th Street on the report of a snowmobile crash.

A preliminary investigation determined Schutts was traveling southbound on a snowmobile trail when he lost control of the snowmobile, left the trail and was ejected, the sheriff's office said. 

Schutts was pronounced dead at the scene.
