A Blaine man was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for producing and possessing child pornography, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.

The release said 39-year-old Scott Francis Fortier was sentenced Wednesday. He was convicted by a jury back in January.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, in September 2016, Fortier invited a 17-year-old and 15-year-old he met through his involvement at a co-ed horseback riding camp in Todd County to his home in Blaine.

The release said Fortier gave the two girls alcohol and engaged in sexual conduct with the two. The attorney's office said Fortier used his cell phone to record multiple videos.

After a search warrant was executed, authorities learned Fortier thousands of images of child pornography.
