The efforts to find the University of Minnesota's next president continue this week.
The university's Board of Regents has planned a special meeting Wednesday to review three candidates.
Earlier this month, the Presidential Search Advisory Committee completed interviews with nine candidates.
Eric Kaler, who has served as president since 2011, announced in July that he would leave that role in June 2019.
He will continue as president through June 30, 2019, then will serve as president emeritus from July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2020.
