Unconscious man found in Savage Target parking lot, taken to hospital

A man was taken to a hospital after being found lying in the corner of a Target parking lot in Savage Friday night.

Savage Police said officers were called at about 7:30 p.m. at 14000 block of State Highway 13 about someone lying in the northwest corner of the parking lot. When officers arrived, they found a man with contusions to his head.


The man was given first aid and then transported by ambulance to a hospital. Police said he was still unconscious late Friday evening.

Investigators are working to determine who the man is and what happened. Police also interviewed witnesses and are working to find cameras, but as of late Friday night they said nobody they've talked to saw anything happen.
