Two Dassel residents are in custody as of Monday after a search warrant conducted by the C.E.E.-VI Drug and Gang Task Force found many illegal drugs and numerous firearms at their residence.
According to a news release from the C.E.E.-VI Drug and Gang Task Force, the suspects include a 59-year-old man and 56-year-old woman. The search warrant was conducted at a residence located in the 17000 Block of Highway 15 South in Meeker County.
Task Force agents found methamphetamine, suspected LSD, marijuana, numerous firearms, surveillance cameras and "what appeared to be a functioning cannon at their residence," according to the release. According to authorities, the cannon appeared to be homemade.
Both are facing first-degree controlled substance charges as well as other controlled substance and firearms-related charges.
The case is still under investigation.
