Two Charged in Connection to Sex Trafficking of Underaged Girl

Two people have been charged in connection to the sex trafficking of an underage girl, according to court records. 

Criminal complaints state Durelle Lavan White and Anna Vladimirovna Shinkarenko both face one count of engaging in sex trafficking of an individual under the age of 18, promoting prostitution and receiving profits from prostitution.


Both were charged in Ramsey County Wednesday. 

According to the criminal complaints, in August 2017, a 15-year-old victim met a man at a Salvation Army who told her if she stayed with him she would have "a great life." The complaint said the man called White and Shinkarenko, who picked the 15-year-old up and drove her to a hotel in St. Paul.

The complaint said White brought the victim clothing to change into, and Shinkarenko took pictures of her in a, "sexually provocative manner." 

The complaint goes on to say that Shinkarenko then posted an advertisement for the girl on 

Shinkarenko drove the victim around the Twin Cities to meet with men looking for sexual services, according to the complaint. During the six-week period the victim was with Shinkarenko and White, the girl engaged in sexual acts with men multiple times per day. 

According to White's criminal complaint, he assaulted the teen twice while she was with him. 

Each charge Shinkarenko and White face carry a maximum sentence of 20 years.
