"My heart was really broken and changed by people. I mean, I really fell in love with people who I think the rest of society find despicable," Bahr said.

He says the money from his book, 'Those People,' will go to 'Threshold 2 New Life.'

The Salvation Army told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS Bahr is also heavily involved with their organization.

Bahr has spent the last 10 years volunteering his time in the Twin Cities.
