A security alert posted to the website at Macalester College in St. Paul states two swastikas were found drawn on a study table in the school's library Thursday.

The alert said the graffiti was removed and the incident was reported to St. Paul police. Based on the location, the alert said it is likely someone in the campus community has information regarding the perpetrator or perpetrators.

It follows a report of swastikas being drawn or carved in residence halls in October.

There was also a report of anti-Arab speech being left on a door of a custodial closet in a residence hall in early November.

Anyone with information on the latest incident is asked to call campus security at 651-696-6555 or the Office of Student Affairs at 651-696-6220.
