Authorities investigating suspicious death in Sauk Rapids

Sauk Rapids police and the BCA Crime Lab are investigating a suspicious death that occurred in Sauk Rapids Saturday morning.

Police were called to a residence on the 1200 block of 1st Avenue N. in Sauk Rapids at around 2:56 a.m. on a report of woman who was unconscious and not breathing.

Upon arrival, officers attempted lifesaving measures on a 30-year-old woman, but police and medical personnel were unable to revive her.

In a release, the Sauk Rapids Police Department stated that there is no ongoing danger to the public. 

More information was expected to be released on Monday, July 29.
