The Minneapolis Police Department reports a suspect has been arrested in the fatal shooting of a 67-year-old woman and her 42-year-old daughter Saturday night.
The name of the suspect has not been officially released for what police said in a release was investigative purposes. But a source tells KSTP he is Richie Vessel. Police say he is a neighbor of the mother killed.
Jail records show a man with that name was booked into Hennepin County Jail on probable cause murder Monday.
Department Public Information Officer John Elder said the suspect was arrested late Monday afternoon and was booked into Hennepin County Jail. Charges are expected to be filed by noon Wednesday.
"Investigators worked this case through and followed up on every single lead," Elder said. "Two innocent victims. It's tragic it just really is. This is two lives that did not need to be lost."

An autopsy showed Mark suffered a gunshot wound to her chest and Angerhofer was shot in the face and neck. They died in Mark's fourth-floor apartment at the Holmes Park Village apartments for seniors and disabled adults on 2nd Avenue Southeast in Minneapolis.
