Minnesotans will be able to enjoy some sunshine after showers make their way through the state, according to KSTP Chief Morning Meteorologist Ken Barlow.
Barlow said showers are expected to make their way their way through the metro later in the afternoon.
He said he expects the showers should pass by 5 p.m., bringing some sun to the area.

Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 53 degrees during the day.
Moving into Friday, plenty of sun and temperatures in the 60s are expected, according to Barlow.
Sunshine and warm weather will continue Saturday, with temperatures reaching the 70s.
