Sunday's storms bring light snow to north metro

Sunday's storm brought rain across the area, and even some snow in the north metro.

Many are hoping for spring weather to finally arrive and stick around.

Nina Ball had to wipe off snow on all items outside the Merry Peddlers in downtown Lindstrom.

"I think it's crazy," Ball said. "I think it's May and I'm ready for warm weather."

On a weekend in May, parks and lakes in Chisago County would be packed with people, but on Sunday we found many there empty.
