There is just one week left before the annual Summer Harvest For Kids Food Drive.

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS is again teaming up with MATTER and The Food Group to make sure kids continue to receive healthy meals, even though they aren't in school over the summer.

And in advance of the event on May 30 at Mall of America, KSTP is spotlighting another group working to help local families.

Allina Health is teaming up with The Food Group to collect healthy food. A total of 50 Allina clinics around the Twin Cities are participating with a goal to collect 15,000 pounds of healthy food.

"Working in health care, I know how critical healthy food is to good health," said Allina's Aimee Pappenfus. "And The Food Group's Mission is all about providing healthy food to local food agencies."

You can help too. Click here for more information on how to sign up and help pack on May 30.
